Buddy Can You Spare Some Grease?

HUGR Systems Delivers Used Cooking Oil Tank to Central Florida Zoo

05/15/03 -- Joe Montisano, the C.E.O. of the Central Florida Zoo wanted a deep fryer.  The patrons and employees have long wanted fries to sell at the concession stand.  There was only one drawback: Used grease.

Pleased with the success and notoriety his new HUGR CleanCut48 lawnmower is providing he concocted a plan.  Calling HUGR, he asked if they could use the old oil.  He calculated that his new HUGR CleanCut48 was using about two gallons per week.  If they  changed the fryer oil once per week, he'd create the perfect disposal method:  His new mower!

HUGR agreed, especially in the interest of creating a "closed loop" wherein oil used at the zoo for cooking becomes part of a cycle ending in fuel for the mower.  A fifteen gallon tank with a filtered funnel was delivered.

The zoo is looking forward to the next fuel delivery, knowing that they are taking advantage of every last drop of potential energy.  And reducing pollution and America's dependence on foreign sources of energy.
